Details of the Oracle SCM Cloud 25D Release Notes: What’s New?
Common Procurement
- Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement now delivers modified REST APIs designed to simplify and enable integration with external systems.
- A new Configuration Components child resource is now available to manage and retrieve the components associated with a configured item. This resource simplifies working with items created when a customer selects specific options for a finished product.
Purchasing
- The Purchasing landing page now includes an enhanced search utility for quickly locating specific documents like purchase orders, purchase agreements, and requisitions. This ensures you can access all necessary documents, even those not appearing in your recent list.
- Requisition lines can now be processed into purchase orders and negotiation documents in real time. For staged documents containing five lines or fewer, you are no longer required to wait for a scheduled process to complete, significantly improving efficiency.
Supplier Model
- The Supplier Management landing page is now enabled to view and open recently accessed suppliers and offers quick navigation to related tasks. Administrators and managers can also add custom KPIs, analytics, and data visualizations for improved supplier data monitoring.
- Logging into Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement now displays a new Supplier Management tile to launch the modernized Redwood landing page. The classic landing page remains accessible via the existing Suppliers tile.
Supplier Qualification Management
- The new Supplier Qualification landing page allows managers to quickly view their latest qualifications and navigate to common qualification tasks.
- Enhance monitoring of qualification operations and performance by adding custom Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and data visualizations for better decision-making. Internal responders can now use the redesigned pages to quickly access questionnaires and action plan tasks that require their immediate attention.
Supplier Portal
- The Oracle WAF for SaaS is an implementation of a WAF that’s deployed and managed by the Oracle SaaS Cloud Security to provide a comprehensive application layer protection for the Oracle’s SaaS environments.
- The web application firewalls (WAFs) have become a vital component in this defense, focusing on the application layer (Layer 7) to secure web applications by filtering, monitoring, and blocking potentially harmful HTTP/S traffic.
Procurement Contracts
- As a supplier, you can now use the Oracle Supplier Portal Contracts Redwood page to send contract-related notifications and share relevant documents. This feature centralizes contract updates and document sharing in one accessible location.
- On the Supplier Portal Contracts page, choose a contract and click Review Contract Documents. In the drawer panel, select Shared by supplier to manage documents you share with the buying organization. Here, you can drag and drop contract documents, which will be accessible to the buyers managing the contract.
Global Order Promising
- A redesigned page is now available for setting enterprise-specific promising options, including the source for time zone and lead time calculation. This page also features adjustable options to assist with troubleshooting, such as logging levels and locking behavior management.
- A redesigned page is available to configure how Oracle Global Order Promising schedules order lines. You can now set the promising mode, define the type of supply to include during availability checks, and manage other scheduling control options from this new interface.
Order Management
- You can now easily migrate your reservation priority setups between environments. This feature directly supports the implementation of the new Redwood: Use More Attributes and Set Up Rules to Prioritize Order Lines for Reservations functionality.
- Use the Configuration Summary page to view the configured item’s structure. Click the Structure icon to go to the summary page.
Pricing
- The Pricing Administration function now features a redesigned landing page. Use this new starting point to manage your pricing rules, view a summary of your price lists, and modify the page layout to suit your specific needs.
- Manage price lists across business units using a new personalized, intuitive experience.
