I’m excited to announce that we have closed an $8 Million financing round led by Vertica Capital Partners back in Q1 2022.
As we enter a phase of fast yet responsible growth, we could not have asked for a better partner than Vertica, who not only are veteran investors in our space, but also share our vision for solving the biggest pain points of testing enterprise business applications through test automation.
But this post is not just about our funding announcement.
It is about our mission to empower enterprises - big and small - to speedily migrate to cloud-based ERPs, and manage their legacy & new business applications with lower cost and risk through continuous testing of enterprise apps.
Our journey began with a simple vision: replace the inefficient and time-consuming manual testing processes that held back IT, QA, and business teams from making frequent changes to their enterprise application stack.
As we evolved and grew, so did the potential of what our platform could achieve: we could enable organizations to instantly discover the legacy tests they’ve run, seamlessly create end-to-end tests across applications, and make testing a process that employees don’t dread doing. Opkey was also democratizing test automation by empowering everyone, no matter their technical expertise, to contribute to test automation.
While our journey is nowhere near complete, we’re extremely proud of where we are: our customers are pushing ERP changes 50% faster while lowering their release defect rate by more than 70%. Additionally, our platform is being used by business teams to streamline UAT and automate test documentation, empowering them to focus on more high-value activities.
Today, hundreds of companies–including some of the largest in the world–are using Opkey as their central platform to test their growing stack of enterprise applications like SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, and Coupa.
This round of funding is recognition of the value Opkey is bringing to enterprises and the emerging category of packaged application testing, and we are using these funds to accelerate product innovation, provide even better customer support, and drive faster GTM.
I would like to thank our hundreds of customers and dozens of partners who have consistently shown faith in our vision and execution.
