Multi Browser Testing

Cross-browser testing helps verify that web applications works as expected across many different combinations of web browsers, operating systems, and devices.

Opkey’s Multi Browser simplifies access to Test Cases, Gherkin, and Sparkin files from Opkey Web/Accelerator platforms.

Create a session, add the files, and run them on your preferred browser or device from Opkey’s Multi-Browser. You can also schedule your session for test execution at a particular date & time.

Getting Started with working on the Multi-Browser platform:

Login to the Opkey portal and on the launchpad page, Click the Multi-Browser Portal icon to launch.

Click ‘Create Session’ from the left panel icon.

Select the platform.

Select the test case to be added.

Click on Next when the test case gets added.

Choose a combination of Browsers and Devices. Click on Next.

Click on Run Now after selecting the available agent. The Opkey Admin panel now features an Agent Pool tab that lists online and offline agents. During test execution, a suitable agent is automatically assigned based on the chosen OS, browser, version, or mobile device for the session.

Before executing tasks on a selected agent from the Optional Agent list under Advanced Settings, ensure the agent is online and registered for the specific browser version or device.

Post execution, click on the Manage Result Icon to view the result.

Post execution, view results from the Manage Results tab.

With this, you now know how Opkey’s Multi Browser portal operates.
